The Boat

The SKIMMER is a 40' safe U.S. Coast Guard certified vessel. Her twin hull pontoon design ensures an extremely stable and smooth platform for viewing. Her route remains on calm back bay waters. The SKIMMER can navigate through waters that are only 2 feet deep! Those that suffer from sea sickness will find these trips an enjoyable alternative. All trips are naturalist guided and narrated.

The SKIMMER is covered for protection from sun and rain. Windows can be opened or closed or completely removed depending on weather and for the comfort and viewing of our guests. A marine restroom is located on board the boat. The SKIMMER is partially handicapped accessible. Trips aboard the SKIMMER run rain or shine...we have had wonderful wildlife viewing on days that weren't fit for the beach!
